The Hawthornes Nursery is situated at Hesketh Bank, Near Preston, Lancs and was founded 25 years ago by the present owners, Richard and Irene Hodson.

We specialise in Clematis, mostly Viticellas, of  which we have the National Collection.

These are planted in the Garden, over 200 Clematis in the Garden in total, together with Old-Fashioned Roses and many unusual Perennials.

Garden Group Visits can be arranged for June, July, August.

We are in the National Gardens Scheme and the Good Gardens Guide.

We also have a good range of Herbaceous and Species Clematis, plus some Large Flowered varieties.
