AROMATICA

This clematis was raised in France in 1845, and is known as clematis aromatica ( correct name is x aromatica, the x refers to 2 species crossed )
The reason for the name is because it is very strongly perfumed, the more sunnier the aspect, the better the perfume.
Very small blue-violet flowers with cream centres.
A front of the border herbaceous form, only growing to 4 or 5 ft., flowering July to September.
Plants available, ready to plant. 2 year old in 2 litre deep pots
